In order to facilitate the smooth operation of communication processes at Pape Logistics GmbH & Co. KG, sync.blue® provides fully automated, GDPR-compliant synchronization of centrally managed contact data to the Android smartphones of all dispatchers and drivers. This allows the team to immediately see who is calling without requiring any manual upkeep by the IT department.
sync.blue® at Pape Logistics – The Highlights
Significant time savings: An average of 9 minutes saved per day per employee by eliminating the need for manual contact lookup, caller ID, and account switching.
Optimized customer service: Inbound calls are immediately routed to the right contact person.
Zero-touch MDM rollout: Preconfiguration and rollout directly through the existing MDM solution
Quick setup: Simple and flexible configuration without technical hurdles
Maximum data security: Operated in compliance with the GDPR on servers located in Germany.
Direct support from sync.blue®: Streamlined communication and fast support from a dedicated account manager.

The Challenge
Contact information had to be made available on work-issued Android smartphones in a reliable and centrally managed manner - but without linking the data to individual user accounts or Exchange mailboxes. In addition, the compliance department's clear requirements for data protection had to be met. Culminating in a GDPR-compliant, centrally manageable platform for contact data synchronization that would integrate seamlessly into the existing IT infrastructure.
The Solution: sync.blue® MOBILE
Following a successful free trial period, the decision was made to use sync.blue® MOBILE to efficiently synchronize contact information to employees’ mobile devices.
Three features of sync.blue® MOBILE convinced the IT managers:
Server and data processing locations in Germany
Centralized data management directly within the platform
Zero-touch rollout to devices via an MDM solution.
Setup & Rollout
The implementation of sync.blue® was quick and straightforward. The settings were preconfigured using the preexisting MDM solution and then deployed. As a result, all relevant contacts were automatically and quickly synced to employees’ work smartphones without any action required on their part. Any questions that arose were addressed directly through a dedicated contact person at sync.blue®.
“Time means everything when it comes to logistics! At Pape Logistics, we were able to demonstrate how contact synchronization with sync.blue® acts as an unassuming yet powerful tool for making everyday communication processes simpler, more user-friendly, and more efficient.”
Yannick Apel, Key Account Manager at sync.blue®
Results & Business Impact
Reliable caller ID: Dispatchers and drivers can immediately see who is calling. This ensures that internal calls, customer calls, and important communications are routed directly to the right person without any delays.
No more workflow interruptions: Manual lookups, switching between apps, and unnecessary call transfers are eliminated.
Measurable time savings:
9 minutes per employee per day
6,630 hours total per year
“We were looking for a reliable solution for distributing contacts to mobile devices that wouldn’t be tied to a specific account and could ideally be managed using an MDM system. sync.blue® MOBILE won us over right away.”
Dennis Rieper, IT-Systemtechnician at Pape Logistics
Scaling and expanding sync.blue® as needed
Given the positive experience with the platform, the next step is already underway: extending automated contact synchronization to Yealink landline phones.
